Mysore/Mysuru: Maharaja High School and PU College Alumni Association celebrated Founder, Maharaja Mummadi Krishna Raja Wadiyar Jayanti on July 15 by garlanding the bust of the Maharaja in front of the pu College.

Association President B.S. Sridhar Raj Urs along with Hon. President Dr. N. Chandrashekar of Aditya Hospital, Vice-Principal Mahesh, staff and students attended the event held at  the Library Hall.

Speaking on the occasion, Sridhar Raj Urs recalled how the book ‘learning Hindi through Kannada language’ donated to students by him helped the school to achieve cent percent result in English medium section and 90 percent in Kannada medium section. He promised that he would visit the school often to encourage students and support the staff. He said that the Association will arrange special coaching for SSLC students.

Dr. Chandrashekar also promised to help through Kalika Kendras started by him. Treasurer Rangaswamy was also present.
