3D Shivalinga, giant sand Shivalinga main attraction at Vijayanagar
Mysore/Mysuru: The Dwadasha Jyotirlinga Punya Darshana has been organised at Om Shanti Mantapa, Vani Vilasa Layout, near Abhisheka Circle, Vijayanagar 2nd Stage, Water Tank Road, in city from tomorrow (Feb. 24 to Mar. 2) between 8 am and 9 pm, under the aegis of Prajapitha Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya as part of Mahashivarathri (Mar.1).
Announcing this at a press meet at Pathrakartara Bhavan in city yesterday, Vidyalaya’s Vijayanagar Branch Head Rajayogini BK Sandhya said that everyday, there will be Samskrutika Sandhya (Cultural Evening) featuring music and dance from 6 pm to 7 pm and discourse ‘Jeevana Darshana.’ Entry is free.
At the venue, visitors will also get to have darshan of 3D Shivalinga, giant Shivalinga made of sand and ‘Shiva Darshana’ painting expo.
Adichunchanagiri Mutt Seer Sri Somanatha Swamiji will grace the occasion. Rajayogini BK Lakshmiji, Chief Coordinator, Brahma Kumaris Mysuru Sub Zone, will preside. Sunanda Palanetra, Mayor, will inaugurate the Dwadasha Jyotirlinga Darshana.
MLC C.N. Manjegowda will inaugurate the giant Shivalinga made of sand. Former MLA Vasu will inaugurate ‘Shiva Darshana’ painting expo. K. Vivekananda, ex-Chairman, Jungle Lodges and Resorts, Bengaluru, will inaugurate 3D Shivalinga Darshana.
Corporators Prema Shankaregowda, M.U. Subbaiah, K.V. Sridhar and Srinivas will be the chief guests. Former Corporators K.T. Cheluvegowda, S.D. Shivanna and Shivamadu, BJP Yuva Morcha President M.G. Kiran Gowda and Dharma of Chamundi Jewellers will be the special invitees.
