Mysuru: As part of Mahisha Dasara, a bike rally was taken out under the aegis of Dalit Welfare Trust, Ashokapuram Abhimanigala Balaga, Gangothri Samshodhana Vidyarthi Okkuta, Dalit Sangharsha Samithi and Pragitapara Sanghatanegalu to Chamundi Hill here this morning.
The rally was launched by Prof. Shabbir Mustafa after garlanding the statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar at Town Hall premises here.
About 100 members of the event organisers participated in the bike rally carrying a portrait of Mahisha. Two people in the garbs of Mahisha and Gautama Buddha also rode the bikes. Sri Gnanaprakash Swamiji and several rationalists were present.
