Maintain cleanliness in Maharaja’s College campus

February 22, 2020

Sir,

Maharaja’s College in Mysuru is known for its heritage and history; more than this it is recognised for the famous personalities it has produced. But today we can see many plastic wastes spilled all over the college campus.

Students throw the waste items wherever they want and sometimes the pedestrians also throw the wastes in the college premises. Even though there are many dustbins in the campus people don’t take the trouble to dispose them in the bins.

The sweepers are doing their best to keep the college campus clean but they are unsuccessful. If this is the case in the most reputed college of Mysuru, then how can we expect to win the ‘Swachh Survekshan Award’? Hence I request the citizens to keep the city clean and always use dustbins to throw the wastes.
