“Make a pledge to regain ‘Clean City top spot’ for Mysuru”

Mysuru: Union Minister of State for Energy, Piyush Goel asked the citizens of Mysuru to work hard to regain the top spot as the cleanest city in the country, which it had lost this year.

He was speaking after visiting Basavanagudi in Hebbal Colony and interacting with the residents of the Dalit Colony and taking part in the Swachh Bharat and tree planting programme here yesterday afternoon. He said that the people of Mysuru were very soft and good and the city is very clean and green. “The city is in the fifth place this time and it should regain the top spot in 2018. Everyone should take a pledge to achieve this target. If this happens, I will visit your city once again,” he said.

A man born into a poor Dalit family, Ram Nath Kovind has become the President of the country today. A tea-seller Narendra Modi has become the Prime Minister of the nation today. Hence, ordinary people are performing extraordinarily well.

The PM is very much aware that because of rampant corruption, the poor are suffering. He has willed his all to fight corruption. People should take a pledge to  strengthen the Prime Minister’s hands and strengthen the country, he said.
