Mysore/Mysuru: The documentary ‘Parva – Poorvaranga’ (Making of ‘Parva’), directed by P. Sheshadri, was launched online on the Rangayana website [www.rangayana.org] last evening.
The 30-minute documentary throws light on the process of the mega production of the theatre repertory and features artistes of the play sharing their experience working for the mega play directed by Prakash Belawadi.
The seven-hour-30-minute mega play ‘Parva,’ the theatre adaptation of one of the masterpieces of Novelist Dr. S.L. Bhyrappa by the same name, was staged in full length and also in 3 episodes — Adi Parva (2-hour-45-minute), Niyoga Parva (2-hour-15-minute) and Yudha Parva (3-hour) — at Rangayana in city in the month of March and received good response.
