Mala Nanjundaswamy (68), wife of retired Police Sub-Inspector Nanjundaswamy and a resident of Chandakawadi Village in the taluk, passed away on Friday afternoon, following brief illness.
She leaves behind her husband, one son, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at Chandakawadi yesterday.
