Malaysian Ladies Amateur Open Golf Championship: Kan Bunnabodee triumphs, City’s Pranavi fares well

City’s talented women golfer Pranavi S. Urs representing India in the 2017 Malaysian Ladies Amateur Open Golf Championships held recently at Glenmarie Golf & County Club fared well by finishing 25th in the Strokeplay gross event.

Kan Bunnabodee of Thailand won the title in the three-day gross event with an aggregate score of 212 (71+69+72). Milhaela Fortuna (Philippines) secured the second place with a three-day aggregate score of 220 (73+75+72). Nur Durriyab Binti Damian (MALGA) secured the third place with a three-day card of 221 (77+72=72).

India’s Tvesa Malik finished fifth with a three-day aggregate score of 223 (75+75+73). Another Indian Diksha Dagar finished tenth with a three-day aggregate score of 226 (79+75+72). Pranavi S Urs secured the 25th place with a three-day aggregate score of 237 (81+84+72).

The Indian women’s team is also taking part in the ongoing 39th Queen Sirikit Cup Golf Tournament in China till May 13. The Indian team comprises of Tvesa Malik, Diksha Dagar and Pranavi S Urs.
