Mall of Mysore conducts painting contest: Students sketch ‘Heritage of Mysuru’

Mysuru: More than 250 students from over 25-plus Schools of Mysuru participated in the unique painting competition titled ‘The Painting Wizard’ held at ‘Mall of Mysore’ in city on Dec.18 to create awareness on Mysuru’s heritage.

 The event was supported by Heritage Art Space, Mysuru. The objective of this drawing  competition was to provide a platform for students in the age group of 6 to 10 years and 11 to 16 years to sketch their thoughts on city’s heritage. 

Prizes were distributed to winners of both categories which are as follows:

6 to 10 yrs: Winner – N. Tanisha, Bgs School, Srirampura;  Runner up 1 –  G. Kushali, Police Public School and  Runner up 2 – S. Vaibhav,  BVB School.

10 to 16 yrs:  Winner – Kushi R. Patel, Mount Litera Zee School; Runner up 1 – N.P. Preetham, Mount Litera Zee School and  Runner up 2 – S. Kushali, Pramati Hill View Academy.

All the students were awarded certificates of participation.

Col. C.P. Medappa, General Manager of the Mall, interacted with  the children and encouraged the parents  to nurture, train and enhance the creative talents  of their children.
