Man arrested for copying during SSLC exam

Mysuru: A man, who was found copying by using his mobile phone during the SSLC Mathematics exam, has been arrested by Jayalakshmipuram Police.

The arrested is 35-year-old Mujahid Pasha, a resident of Rajivnagar, who was writing the Mathematics exam at Mathru Mandali School.

An auto driver by profession, Mujahid was writing the SSLC exam for the third time.

He was arrested by the Police under Karnataka Education Act (115, 115A, 117) and under IPC Section (418 and 420) and was produced before the Court.

He has been remanded to Judicial custody, according to Inspector Suresh Kumar.
