Mysuru:  A 38-year-old man, who reportedly fought with his mother this morning and left from his house, was found hanging from a tree, opposite to the Physics Department in Manasagangothri here this morning.

The deceased has been identified as Manjunath, son of Thammanna, a resident of Paduvarahalli in city.

Manjunath, who had studied up to PUC was working at a private organisation in Hebbal, it is learnt.

Passersby, who saw Manjunath hanging from the tree, informed Jayalakshmipuram Police.

Inspector Prakash, SI Bhavya and staff who rushed to the spot, conducted mahazar, shifted the body to MMC&RI mortuary for post-mortem.

Jayalakshmipuram Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
