Father suspects murder
Periyapatna: A man allegedly committed suicide and the father of the deceased suspecting it to be a murder, has lodged a complaint with Periyapatna Police.
The deceased has been identified as Prakash (25), son of Somachari and a resident of Bilikere in Hunsur taluk.
Prakash had married Kavitha, daughter of Rajachari of Sathegala village about 4 years ago. Kavitha had gone to her parents’ house for delivery. Prakash, at about 12 noon yesterday, went to Sathegala to visit his wife. But last night, Prakash’s father Somachari receives a call from Kavitha’s parents, who said that Prakash had committed suicide by hanging self in the cowshed located behind the house.
Somachari, who rushed to Sathegala this morning, has lodged a complaint at Periyapatna Police Station stating that his son has been murdered by Prakash’s father-in-law Rajachari, mother-in-law Prabhavathi, brother-in-law Papa and Prakash’s wife Kavitha.
Periyapatna Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
