Man dies after falling from seventh floor

Mysore/Mysuru: An unidentified man died after falling from the seventh floor of an apartment building near Agrahara Circle in city recently.

About eight residents of the Apartment had decided to fix nets outside their flats to check the menace of pigeons.

Ramana and Lavaraj were given the job of fixing the nets and the duo started the work on Thursday morning. After some time, they went out to have a cup of tea. While coming back, they brought an unidentified person, who was standing near the tea stall, to fix the nets.

After entrusting the job to the stranger, the duo went out for lunch. But the stranger, who was fixing the nets, on the seventh floor, lost his balance, slipped and fell from the seventh floor resulting in his death.

K.R. Police, who rushed to the spot, registered a case of negligence against Ramana and Lavaraj for engaging the worker without taking any safety measures.

Police have also registered a case against apartment residents  Rajani, Anand and Manager Shashidhar in this connection. Police are trying to establish the identity of the deceased  person.
