Hunsur: In a tragic incident, a 32-year-old man died after being hit by a tempo traveller on Bengaluru-Mysuru Highway on Tuesday night.

The deceased has been identified as K. Shashidharan, a resident of Hunsur town behind Raghu Photo World.

The Police said that incident occurred while a speeding tempo traveller hit Shashidharan while he got out of the car he was travelling along with his friends near Channapatna resulting in his death on the spot. 

Shashidharan leaves behind his brother, a sister and host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at the crematorium located next to Taluk Office today, according to family sources.
