Nanjangud: A man, who was electrocuted at Kadabur village in the taluk on Tuesday and admitted to K.R. Hospital in Mysuru for treatment, has breathed his last at the hospital. The deceased is Chikkadevanayaka (31), a resident of Kadabur village.
The deceased, along with his friends, had gone to Nugu River for fishing, when he was electrocuted by the high tension power line near the river and seriously injured.
Though he was rushed to the hospital, he succumbed at the hospital. Post-mortem was conducted and the body was then handed over to family members.
A case has been registered at Hullahalli Police Station.
