Nanjangud: A 39-year-year-old man died on the spot after being electrocuted at Bokkahalli village in the taluk.
The deceased is Govinda Naik, a resident of T. Katur in Mysuru taluk.
On Sunday, Govinda Naik had come to his sister’s house at Bokkahalli village to get the wall of the house repaired as it had collapsed due to rains.
After the works were completed, Govinda Naik went forward to restore the power connection during which he got electrocuted.
A case has been registered at Nanjangud Rural Police Station.
