Mysuru: A man allegedly committed suicide by hanging self at his house yesterday night.
The deceased is Likith Subbanna (30), son of retired Panchayat Development Officer (PDO) B.S. Roopesh and a resident of Kanakadasanagar in Dattagalli 3rd Stage.
Likith was a bachelor and was working in a private company. The reason for him to take the extreme step is yet to be known.
Likith’s family members, who reportedly saw him hanging last night, informed the jurisdictional Kuvempunagar Police this morning. Police, who reached the house, conducted mahazar, shifted the body to MMC&RI mortuary for post-mortem besides registering a case. Kuvempunagar Police are investigating.
