Mysuru: A 52-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by hanging self at a park in Jayanagar and the incident came to light when walkers saw the body hanging in the park this morning.

The deceased has been identified as Nanjappa, a resident of Jayanagar 9th Cross, who was running a bicycle repair shop. The reason for Nanjappa to take the extreme step is not known.

Ashokapuram Police, who rushed to the spot, conducted mahazar, registered a case and shifted the body to MMC&RI mortuary for post-mortem.
