Mysore/Mysuru: In a tragic incident that occurred early this morning, a man is alleged to have murdered his wife while she slept by strangling her at their residence in KSRTC Layout near the Outer Ring Road Junction on the Mysuru-T. Narasipur Road.
The deceased has been identified as Pallavi (26), the wife of Lokesh Aradhya. They have been married for seven years and have a seven-year-old son.
Upon receiving information about the incident, a team led by Alanahalli Police Inspector G.N. Srikanth managed to arrest the accused, who had fled the scene after committing the heinous act.
Pallavi, originally from Talakad in T. Narasipur taluk, was involved in a domestic dispute with her husband Lokesh, who works in a private firm and assists in the document verification process of loan applicants.
The Police are currently investigating the case and attempting to ascertain the motive behind the murder and other relevant details. Forensic personnel and a sniffer dog were present at the crime scene, along with City Police Commissioner Ramesh Banoth, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) M. Muthuraj, and Assistant Commissioner of Police Devaraja Sub-Division Shanthamallappa.
