With the monsoon playing truant and the district facing severe water crisis, the District Administration offered special prayers at KRS Dam in Srirangapatna taluk on Friday. A team of officials led by Mandya DC Manjushree and SP Shivaprakash Devraj offered special prayers to Goddess Cauvery at KRS, praying the almighty for good rainfall and filling up of the reservoir.
