Mandya to host Inter-District Football Tournament from tomorrow

The Inter-District Football Tournament 2017-18 will be held at Sir M.V. Stadium in Mandya from Mar.11 to 18.

Eight district teams will be taking part in the Tourney. The teams have been divided into two groups of four teams each and the top two teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals.

The teams in Group A are: Belagavi, Bengaluru, Kodagu and Shivamogga. The teams in group B are: Dakshina Kannada, Mandya, Kolar and Mysuru.

Mysuru will play its first league match against Dakshina Kannada on Mar.11 at 4.30 pm.

The following players will represent Mysuru district in the Championships: Yashwanth, Alex, Rakshith, Dharshan, Mangal Chand, Godwin, Nishanth, Nithin Sidda, Yonus Pasha, Gowtham, Sunny Mario, A. Zain, Shashwath, Sachin, Dzenwer and Ahmed Sayeed; Manager: B.K. Somashekar and Coach: Jarmax.
