Manjula Umesh (68), former State President of Congress Women’s Wing and Kutumba Rakshana Vedike and a resident of New Kantharaj Urs Road in Kuvempunagar, passed away yesterday in city.

She leaves behind her husband R. Umesh, son Pavan, daughters Swarnagowri and Shripriya and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at Mukthidhama in Vijayanagar 4th Stage this afternoon, according to family sources.
