Manjunath (45), an ex-serviceman and a resident of Hedatale village in the taluk, passed away following brief illness at K.R. Hospital in Mysuru last night. He leaves behind his wife, two children and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at Hedatale village this afternoon.
