Marathon against rare diseases in city on Mar. 12

In order to create awareness on rare diseases, the JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research (JSS AHER), in association with the Organisation for Rare Diseases of India (ORDI), will be conducting a ‘Race for 7’ marathon in the city on Mar. 12.

The marathon will be flagged off in front of Kote Anjaneyaswamy temple at the Palace North Gate at 6.30 am.

The marathon will pass through D. Devaraj Urs Road, JLB Road, Vinoba Road, Saraswathipuram Fire Station, Ramaswamy Circle, Chamaraja Double Road, Gun House Circle and Hardinge Circle, before culminating at the starting point.  This is the 8th edition of the marathon, which targets to educate the public on rare diseases haunting the population, according to a press release from Dr. Deepa Bhat of JSS Hospital.
