Mask-less travelling in KSRTC buses

March 23, 2021

Sir,

I was happy to read the news “Drive against mask-less people” in SOM dated Mar. 18.

In this connection I would like to mention that I regularly commute between Mysuru and Gonikoppa by KSRTC bus. These buses are always crowded and about 90 percent of passengers travel without wearing mask. It is an irony that even the Drivers and Conductors of these buses do not wear mask. Being a heterogeneous group, these travellers without mask pose a potent threat in spreading the Coronavirus.

Hence, I request the authorities concerned to extend their drive against mask-less travellers in all Government and private buses.
