Mysore/Mysuru: Jk Tyre & Industries Ltd., one of the prestigious Tyre Manufacturing Companies located at Mysuru, has got three Plants and one state-of-the-art Research and Development Centre functioning in Metagalli and Hebbal Industrial Area in Mysuru.
During this COVID-19 pandemic, apart from various other measures benefiting the society at large, the company had taken a big initiative of organising a Mass Vaccination Camp covering around 4,500 people.
Vuppu Eswara Rao, Vice- President (Works), along with Vikram Hebbar, GM-HR&IR and Plant Head, Rajeev Kumar, GM-Prod. Plant-1, addressed the employees on the occasion and motivated them to take part in the vaccination drive.
G.V. Somesha, General Secretary of Vikrant Tyre Employees’ Union, along with other office-bearers, were also present.
Besides this week-long Mass Vaccination Camp, the company has also taken up various other initiatives to support the District Administration in providing health infrastructure in Mysuru, nearby Taluks and Gram Panchayats by providing necessary facilities at the District COVID Hospital, COVID War Rooms, Primary Health Centres, Srirangapatna Covid Care Centres.
