Mysuru: Following publication of the photo news items in SOM’s WhatsApp Us column, the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) has sent the following clarifications:

Photo 1: For the photo news item with the headline ‘Plea to clear stinking garbage pile at Sunni Chowk’ on May 22, the garbage pile near the Kannada Medium School has been cleared.

Photo 2: Plea to clear garbage pile on Noor Ali Shah Makan Road (published on May 23): The garbage pile has been cleared and the spot has been cleaned.
