MCC Zonal Office staff on poll duty: Citizens inconvenienced

April 4, 2024

Sir,

The Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) has notified the property owners of the houses/ apartments to provide copies of some documents for them to verify and update on their computer.

I went to the MCC Zonal Office near Akashvani in Yadavagiri on Apr. 1  to submit the documents. There was no one to receive the documents and I was told that they are all on election duty.

I couldn’t understand why they cannot ask someone in their office to receive the documents and give the acknowledgement.

I could see many people who came there for other services also were turned back.

MCC authorities should look into this matter and do the needful to avoid inconvenience to the tax-paying citizens including the senior citizens.
