Mysore/Mysuru: Chamundeshwari MLA G.T. Devegowda (GTD) performed guddali puja for the construction of the ground floor of the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) Zone-3 Office this morning. The MCC Zone-3 Office will come up on Vivekananda Road in Sharadadevinagar.

 GTD said that MCC Zone-3 Office is being constructed at a total cost of Rs. 4 crore and for now, the ground floor works will be taken up at an approximate cost of Rs. 1.99 crore.

He pointed out that the MCC is constructing MCC Zone-3, 5 and 8 Offices and the Zone-3 Office is being constructed at Sharadadevinagar, which comes under Chamundeshwari Constituency. Eight MCC wards come under Zone-3, GTD said and added that MCC Commissioner G. Lakshmikantha Reddy has assured that the works would be completed in six months.

 In-charge Mayor Sunanda Palanetra, In-charge Deputy Mayor Anwar Baig, Corporators Nirmala Harish, Savitha Suresh, Lakshmi Madegowda, Gopi, Sharath and Shivakumar, former Corporators K.M. Shankar and Jagadish, MCC Assistant Commissioner B.M. Prakash, Developmental Officer Sathyamurthy and others were present.
