MCDCC Bank President asks women Self-Help Groups to make judicious use of Bank loans

Mysore/Mysuru: MCDCC Bank  (Mysuru-Chamarajanagar District Co-operative Central Bank) President G.D. Harish Gowda, who is also the Vice-President of Karnataka Apex Bank, has called upon women Self-Help Groups (SHGs) for judicious utilisation of bank loans extended to them.

He was speaking after distributing loan cheques to women SHGs under Kayaka scheme at a programme organised at MCDCC Bank at Nehru Circle on  Ashoka Road here on Monday.

Pointing out that SHGs should grow economically by making appropriate use of bank loans, he said that this will also help in betterment of life of group members. Noting that empowerment of women is vital for  growth of the nation, Harish Gowda reiterated that best use of bank loans was the key for growth of Self-Help Groups.

Harish Gowda distributed Rs.10 lakh loan cheque each to Siri Mahila Swashaya Sangha and Drushti Mahila Swasahya Sangha and  Rs. 7 lakh cheque each to Chamundeshwari, Dhanalakshmi and Balagangadharnathaswamy Women Self-Help Groups on the occasion. Bank Managing Director Janardhan, General Manager Shashidhar, Janathanagar Branch Manager Ramesh, Supervisor Suresh and others were present.
