The Mysore District Football Association (MDFA) will be conducting the MDFA ‘A’ Division football league 2017-18 for the ‘Achutharao Memorial Trophy’ at the University grounds here from Mar. 21.
In all, 12 teams will be taking part in the ‘A’ division league. The teams have been divided into two groups with 6 teams each. In Group ‘A’, Ashoka FC, Ganesha FC, Chanakya Kota FC, Durgamba FC, Mysore Police FC and SWR FC have been clubbed, while in the Group ‘B’, Gandhinagar FC, Kickers FC, Pope FC,Jolly XI FC, Mysore Muslims FC and Rovers FC have been clubbed.
The matches will be played on a league-cum-super-league basis. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the super-league and knock-out.
The match will go on upto April 19.
