MDFA ‘B’ Division Football: Cosmos FC wins ‘B’ Division title

Cosmos FC with 7 points (3 played-2 win and 1 draw), won the MDFA ‘B’ Division Football League title for the Govindarju Memorial Trophy at the University Grounds here yesterday.

Town Sports FC, Bannur, secured second place with 6 points (3 played – 2 win and 1 loss). Both Cosmos FC and Town Sports FC have earned promotion to the ‘A’ Division.

The prizes to the winners were given away by Dr. C. Krishna, retd Director of the DPE, UoM and Subramanya Swamy, Chairman, MDFA. MDFA Hon. Secretary Manjunath and other office-bearers were present.

Town Sports FC (Bannur) team which finished runner-up in the League.
