The Mysore District Football Association (MDFA) will be conducting the ‘B’ Division League matches for the Govindaraju Memorial Trophy from Dec. 28 at the University Football Grounds.

Twelve teams will be taking part in the tournament which will be played on a league-cum-super-league basis. In group ‘A’- Soniya FC, Bravers FC, Youngmen’s FC, Easter FC, Town SC, Bannur and KR Mill FC are pitted against each other, while in the Group ‘B’, Royal FC, Cosmos FC, Citizen FC, Panther FC, Lion FC and Spirited Youth FC are grouped together.

The top two teams from each group will play for promotion to ‘A’ Division. Three teams having lowest points from each group will be demoted to ‘C’ Division (6 teams). The matches will be held till Feb. 2, 2018. In the first match of the tournament, Soniya FC will take on Bravers FC on Dec. 28 (tomorrow) at 3.45 pm in the Group ‘A’ encounter.
