MDFA ‘A’ Division Football: Facile win for Ashoka FC

Ashoka FC registered a well earned 3-0 upset win over last year’s runner-up Durgamba FC in their Group B tie of the MDFA ‘A’ Division League 2016-17 for the Achutharao Memorial Trophy played at the University Grounds here on Sunday.

The Result

Ashoka FC: 3 (Madhusudhan 13, Sharath 62, Siddaraju 67) bt Durgamba FC: 0.

Saturday’s Result: South Western Railway (South) FC: 3 (Mohith 39, Dawood 75, 77) bt Rovers FC: 0.
