Mysuru: The Mysuru District Journalists Association (MDJA) has invited entries from scribes for conferring its Annual Award in four categories — Kannada article, English article, electronic media and photography.

The articles or photographs must have been published in newspapers in the period between June 1, 2023 and June 30, 2024. Visual media reports should also be telecast during the said period.

A journalist can send only one entry. For articles category, one original copy with three photocopies; for photographs category, three photographs of 8×12 size with a copy of newspaper in which the photograph was published; for electronic media category, the visuals should be sent in three CDs.

Only MDJA members can apply for the award. The last date for submission of entries at the MDJA Office, 5th Cross, Thyagaraja Road, near Akkana Balaga, Agrahara, Mysuru – 570024, is July 31. Entries will not be accepted after the deadline.

MDJA has also invited applications from meritorious children of Association members, who have scored more than 90 percent marks in SSLC and PUC in the academic year 2023-24 for presentation of Pratibha Puraskar.
