Mysuru: The election for the Executive Committee Members of Mysore District Journalists’ Association (MDJA) will be held on Aug. 13 at its premises on Thyagaraja Road in city, according to Election Officer Echanur Kumar.
The Association has already announced the voter’s list at its premises and the last date to submit application for revision of the list was July 20. The final list of voters will be announced on July 21. Last date for submission of nomination papers is July 26 by 1 pm. Scrutiny of nomination papers will be taken up from 2 pm on the same day.
Last date for withdrawing the nomination papers is July 28 before 12 noon. The final list of candidates will be announced on the same day after 1 pm.
The polling of votes will take place on Aug. 13 between 8 am and 2 pm and the counting will be held after 4 pm.
