MDJA felicitates meritorious children of scribes

Mysore/Mysuru: Mysuru District Journalists Association (MDJA) felicitated meritorious children of journalists who had excelled in the SSLC and PUC examinations held during the academic year 2023-24, at a function held at Alamma Choultry in city yesterday.

The Association also felicitated journalists Bannur K. Raju and Kashinath, who served as Election Officers during the recently held MDJA elections.

Ad-hoc Committee Members B.S. Prabhurajan and Balakrishna Maddur were also feted.

The function was inaugurated by K.V. Prabhakar, Media Advisor to the Chief Minister, who also addressed the gathering.

MDJA President K. Deepak presided. Karnataka Union of Working Journalists (KUWJ) President Shivananda Tagadur, Actor Mandya Ramesh, Senior Journalist Shivakumar Bellitatte, MDJA General Secretary Dharmapura Narayana, MDJA Executive Committee Members and other journalists were present on the occasion.
