MDRA Open Sight Open Shooting Championship

Mysore District Rifle Association (MDRA) will be conducting MDRA Open Shooting Championship in open sight air rifle event between May 5 and 7. The Championship will be held at MDRA 10 metre indoor shooting range situated at #10, First Floor, Swamy Vivekananda Road (near Orchids School), ‘I’ Block, Ramakrishna Nagar.

Matches

  1. The competition will be conducted according to NRAI rules and regulations.
  2. The competition shall be categorised into Senior (21 years and above), Junior (18-21), Sub-Junior (above 15-below 17), Youth (12-18) and Men & Women events.
  3. Teams can be formed by the shooters of the same Association/Unit only in both juniors and seniors category’s. Final entry of three members of the team must be submitted latest by the previous day of the start of the match. Only three teams per Association/Unit will be allowed in each Team events.

Eligibility of Juniors & Youth

  1. Those who are below 20 years/18 years of age will be considered as Juniors/Youth respectively for the Championship.
  2. All competitors entering for junior/youth events must attach an attested copy of a certificate of their age proof with their entry forms failing which their applications are liable for rejection.
  3. Youth shooters are allowed to participate in Junior and Seniors category simultaneously. Juniors can participate in Senior category matches with extra entry fee.
  4. Entry fee is neither refundable nor adjustable or transferable from one match to another.

Last date for entry will be Apr. 30. For Mysuru region entries, candidates can register their names at the above said location.
