Meal for school children at Zoo

Mysuru: There are plans to provide meals to school children, who visit the Mysore Zoo to see the animals and birds, said Zoo Authority of Karnataka Chairperson Mallige Veeresh.

She was speaking as the chief guest at the Makkala Habba celebrations organised by the District Administration and Zilla Panchayat at Vanaranga in Rangayana premises, here yesterday.

She said that on Children’s Day there was free admission to the school children visiting the Zoo and concession is given on entry tickets to children from schools on other days.

In the coming days, the Zoo Authority is planning to serve afternoon meals to the children, she added.
