Medal-winners in Inter-School Karate Championship

The following students of The Orchids Public School and PU College, Kumarabeedu, have bagged prizes under the guidance of Sensei Siddaraju in the Ajith Memorial Inter-School Karate Tournament 2019 organised by Mahabodhi School, Mysuru, in collaboration with International Shotokan Karate Federation of Karnataka:

M. Jeevan of Class 9 has secured first place in Kumite for boys in the 36 to 40 kg black belt category and 3rd prize in Kata in the 13 to 15 years black belt.

L. Jeevitha of Class 6 has secured 1st place in Kata for Girls in the 11-12 years category and D. Chethan Gowda of Class 7 has secured 1st place in the same, in Boys category.

Ridhi Kiran of Class 8 has secured 1st place and Disha A. Gowda of Class 10 has secured 2nd place in Kumite for Girls in the 50 to 60 kg category.

K.R. Jeevan of Class 10 has secured second place in Kumite for Boys in the 55 to 60 kg category.

Poornachandra Gowda of Class 7 has secured 2nd place in boys Kumite 46 to 50 kg category and 3rd prize in Boys Kata 12-13 years category.
