Mysuru: The following students of The National Institute of Engineering (NIE) have excelled in the various sports:
Sharath (III ME) won Bronze Medal in State-level Judo in upto 72-kg category Judo at Chamundi Vihar Stadium, Mysuru, organised by DYES.
Sandur Praneetha Pradeep (VII IS) won Gold Medal in VTU Single Zone Long-Jump at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College (GNDEC), Bidar.
K. Yogesh (V ME) won Gold Medal in International Karate Championships at Netaji Subash Indoor Stadium in Kolkata in Minus-55 kg category.
