Media persons mend their body with Yoga

As part of Dasara festival, the Yoga Dasara Sub-Committee had organised ‘Yoga Vahini: Yoga for Press Persons’ this morning at Sougandhika Park in Kuvempunagar here which was inaugurated by MLA S.A. Ramdas and Mayor Pushpalatha Jagannath.

More than 200 yoga enthusiasts and students of Patanjali Yoga Shikshana Samiti, Yoga Federation and Govt. Nature Cure and Yoga College along with a number of press persons participated in the one-hour yoga programme.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Ramdas said: “for International Day of Yoga-2020 which will be held on June 21, we have plans to invite Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Mysuru, being yoga hub of the world, has given world’s best teachers in the field of yoga. Mysureans must practice and give preference to yoga and naturopathy.”
