Mysuru: In a step towards strengthening public healthcare services, Page Industries Limited at Vishweshwaranagar donated various medical equipment to Nachanahallipalya Urban Primary Health Centre (UPHC) in city recently.
Donated equipment includes Autoclave (80 L SS), Blood Pressure Monitor, Haematology Analyser, Welch Allyn 3.5V LEF Otoscope and both Zero Degree and 70 Degree Nasal Endoscopes, all worth Rs. 7 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion, representatives from Page Industries emphasised their commitment to corporate social responsibility and community welfare. “Our aim is to support and uplift public healthcare infrastructure, in areas where timely and accurate diagnosis can save lives. We hope this equipment will assist healthcare workers in providing quality medical services to those in need,” said a rep.
Medical officers and staff at UPHC expressed gratitude, stating that the new equipment will help improve patient care, sterilisation standards, ENT diagnostics and general check-ups.
K. Baburaj, Rajashekar Aravind, Mamatha and Dr. Sowmya, Medical Officer and staff of UPHC were present.
