November 28, 2022

Mysore/Mysuru: National Public School (NPS), Mysuru, conducted a mega cultural extravaganza in its campus on Nov. 5 and 6.

Spread across four shows in two days, the event showcased the talents of all students of Classes 1 to 11. This event is a noteworthy feat as each and every student got an opportunity to be on stage and there was 100% participation from parents too.

The performances of Classes 6-11 were based on the theme of ‘Navaras’ that depicted the nine emotions, with special reference to COVID times, through captivating music, dances and heart-touching skits.

The highlight of the first day was the presence of Padma Shri awardee Saalumarada Thimmakka as the chief guest.

The 111-year-old environmental enthusiast was felicitated by NPSI Mysuru Principal Akhila Dinesh and school prefects.
