Mysuru: ‘Melodies of Togetherness’ was an extremely meaningful musical evening, in which doctors shared the karaoke stage with enthusiastic special children.
The event beautifully reflected the true spirit of inclusivity and proved that music has the power to break barriers, unite hearts and remind us that every individual deserves love, respect and a place to shine. It was a small but significant step towards creating awareness and reinforcing that intellectually challenged children deserve every opportunity to be part of the mainstream.
The programme was seamlessly organised by Kevalin Charitable Trust at Mini Theatre in Kalamandira premises recently.
The Trust, founded by Seemanthini B. Sharma, strives to build a strong support network where parents can connect and stand by one another, thereby building a caring, inclusive and supportive community where no parent feels alone. It also aims at empowering special children through vocational training, helping them achieve economic independence and preparing them for community living with as much independence and dignity as possible.
