Melukote Temple records Rs. 40.28 lakh hundi collection

The famous Cheluvanarayanaswamy Temple cluster at Melukote in Pandavapura taluk of Mandya district, has recorded a hundi collection of Rs.40.28 lakh in a span of three months. While Cheluvanarayanasamy Temple recorded hundi collection of Rs.30,14,448, Yoganarasimhaswamy Temple recorded a collection of Rs.10,13,906. The counting, held over two days, took place in the presence of Temple Executive Officer Nanjegowda, Revenue Inspector Ramesh, Naadakacheri staff Somu, Temple’s Hemanth Kumar, SBI Cashier Kiran and others.
