Allege Joint Action Committee of  KSRTC Employees Associations

Mysore/Mysuru:  The Joint Action Committee of  KSRTC Employees Associations has alleged that members of the KSRTC Employees Federation have failed to protect the interest of employees during the revision of wages and also with respect to protecting the employees who were dismissed and suspended following their participation in a strike.

In a press release issued on behalf of Joint Action Committee and signed by of KSRTC Staff Workers Federation (AITUC)’s H.V. Ananta Subbarao, KSRTC Employees Federation (CITU) H.D. Revappa, B. Jayadevaraje Urs, KSRTC and BMTC United Employees Union’s K.R. Vijayakumar, SC-ST Employees Union’s Venkataramanappa was released by the SC/ST Officers and Employees Welfare Association’s M. Mallikarjuna Murthy on Sunday. Alleging that the members of the KSRTC Employees Federation, instead of protecting the interests of employees was criticising the members of the Joint Action Committee, he said that the Joint Action Committee strongly condemns the attack on its members.

“For KSRTC Employees Federation members, their ego has become more important than the welfare of employees. This was indicated by their stand that no agreement is needed with KSRTC with respect to the dismissal, suspension, unscientific transfers , Police cases and in providing relief to the affected families following their participation in an agitation against the KSRTC during April, 2021. They are rigid about their stand on the issue which was evident in their participation at a meeting called by the Joint Action Committee which is the height of stupidity,” says the press release.
