Merchants Co-operative Bank announces 25% dividend

Mysuru: The Mysuru Merchants Co-operative Bank of the city has announced a 25 percent dividend for the Bank members.

Making the announcement during the Bank’s 67th Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) held at a Convention Hall in Paduvarahalli here recently, Bank President C.V. Somashekar said that the Bank has recorded a net profit of Rs. 7.96 crore in 2025-26.

Pointing out that the Bank has advanced loans amounting to Rs. 324.07 crore as on Mar. 31, he said the Bank Deposit stands at Rs. 464 crore, with a own investment of Rs. 97.82 crore. The Bank has a working capital of Rs. 588.03 crore, he added.

Senior members of the Bank — L. Brahmarambha, S. Bhagya, P. Vanajakshi, T. Venkatesh, A.H. Narayanappa, R. Leeladhar, M.N. Jayashankar, C.S. Vijaya Chaudhuri, A.P. Shivajirao, M.B. Bhaskar, K. Govindaraju, Rameshchandra, M.V. Shivalingaswamy, S. Jayaprakash, V.D. Murthy, M.C. Somashekar and K. Mariswamy Gowda — were feted on the occasion.
