Meritorious students feted

Mysuru:  The Management Committee of  Masjid-E – Mubeen, N.R. Mohalla, had organised a function to felicitate students for their outstanding performance in SSLC, PUC, Graduation and Post-Graduation examinations at its premises recently.

The Committee also felicitated the meritorious students who have selected by the Foreign Universities to pursue their Master’s degree and Ph.D programme.

Prof. Syed Akheel Ahmed, former Vice-Chancellor, Yenepoya University, was the chief guest. He spoke about the importance of education in the contemporary world in the light of Holy Quran, Hadees and the role of Muslims in nation-building activities.

Prof. H.S. Sadat Ali Khan, former Member of Board of Management of University of Agricultural Sciences, Raichur presided. Basheer Ahmed Khan proposed a vote of thanks. Hafiz Aijaz Ahmed offered prayers.

The students who were felicitated are: SSLC: Madeeha Siddiqui, Sabiya Sultana, Saiha Sama, Syeda Saniya Tabassum, Reda Anujum, Rukhaiya Sultana, B.H. Rishika and Amjad Khan; PUC: Numaan Ahmed Daulatabad, Ilham, Hussain Shariff and Mohammed Faizan; Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees: Nagma (MBA) , Saba Anjum (BE), Nadiya Fathima (MH) and Fathima (BA); International Universities: Mohammed Saad Sait — Manchester University, UK; Syed Noeman Taqui, Malaya University, Malaysia; Syed Nabeel Ahmed, Ontario University, Canada.
