Meriyanda Madaiah (Dally Master), a resident of Kakkabe in Kodagu, passed away at his daughter’s residence in city last evening following brief illness. He was 86.

He was an agent of Mysuru Mithra newspaper at Kakkabe for many years.

He leaves behind three daughters Latha, Rathi and Malathi, sons-in-law Macharanda Bose Madappa, Madrira Kishore Bidappa and Kadumanda Kuttaiah, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

His body was shifted to Kakkabe this morning and last rites took place at Marandoda in Cheyyandane, Kodagu, this afternoon.
